Death Predicted, Again

Jesus and His disciples returned to Galilee. But Jesus did not want anyone to know He had returned, because He was teaching His disciples. Jesus said to them, “Let these words sink into your ears: The Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill Him, and on the third day He will be raised to life.”

Jesus' disciples were deeply grieved. They did not understand His statement. It was veiled from them so that they could not comprehend it, and the disciples were afraid to ask Jesus about it.
