Harvest and Workers

Jesus went through all the towns and villages. He taught the people in their synagogues, He preached the gospel of the kingdom, and He healed every disease and sickness. When He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. So, ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

See Matthew 9:35-38; Mark 6:6b
