September 25 — A Life That Honors Christ
“Conduct yourselves with such honor among the Gentiles that, though they slander you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day He visits us.” — 1 Peter 2:12 Every day, our lives tell a story. Long before people ask what we believe, they often notice how we live. They observe how we respond to disappointment. How we treat those who disagree with us. How we speak about others. How we handle success. How we face hardship. Our lives become a testimony long before our words are heard. “Conduct yourselves with such honor…” Peter calls believers to live honorable lives. Honor is more than maintaining a good reputation. It is living with integrity. Being truthful when dishonesty would be easier. Being gracious when harshness seems justified.
