Matthew 6:9-13 (a Devotional Reflection)

Matthew 6:9-13
“So then, this is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.’”

Almighty God, my Heavenly Father,

Your name is holy, and I come before You with reverence and awe. May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Give me this day both physical sustenance and spiritual nourishment, that I may be strengthened for the journey ahead. Forgive my trespasses, as I forgive those who trespass against me, and lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil.

For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
