Psalm 15 (a Devotional Reflection)

Psalm 15
O LORD, who may abide in Your tent? Who may dwell on Your holy mountain?

He who walks with integrity and practices righteousness, who speaks the truth from his heart, who has no slander on his tongue, who does no harm to his neighbor, who casts no scorn on his friend, who despises the vile but honors those who fear the LORD, who does not revise a costly oath, who lends his money without interest and refuses a bribe against the innocent.

He who does these things will never be shaken.

Heavenly Father,

I come with a humble heart, seeking to dwell in Your sacred tent and live on Your holy mountain. Your Word guides me in understanding the qualities You desire in me.

Father, help me to walk blamelessly before You, striving to live righteously in all my actions and thoughts. Purify my heart so that I may speak the truth always, avoiding slander and harm toward my neighbor. Grant me the discernment to honor those who revere You and to stand firm in my commitments, even when it is difficult.

Guide me to be generous and just, lending a hand to those in need without expecting anything in return, and refusing to partake in corruption. May my life reflect Your love and justice, embodying the virtues that allow me to dwell in Your presence.

Strengthen my resolve, O Lord, so that I may never be shaken, firmly rooted in Your grace and truth. Let my life be a testament to Your goodness, shining Your light in a world in need of Your love.

I pray all this in the name of Jesus, Your Son. Amen.
