June 30 — God Dwelling with Us

“And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying: ‘Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man, and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,’ and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away.”
— Revelation 21:3-4

The journey of faith is moving toward something greater. Throughout this month, you have walked through renewal, daily trust, love for others, perseverance in difficulty, and living with purpose. Each step matters. Each day has been part of a larger movement—a life shaped by God’s presence.
And now, this passage lifts our eyes forward. “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man…” This is the promise that stands at the center of all hope: God will be fully present with His people. Not partially, not distantly, but completely. The relationship we experience now in part will one day be known in fullness.

Pause and reflect: Where do I need hope today? Are there areas of your life marked by sorrow, loss, or uncertainty? Do you carry burdens that feel heavy or unresolved? “He will wipe away every tear…” This is a deeply personal promise. God does not overlook pain—He meets it with care. Every sorrow, every grief, every unspoken ache is seen. And there will come a day when these are not only comforted, but removed. “…there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain…” What feels permanent now is not the final reality. The brokenness we experience is temporary. God is bringing all things toward restoration.

Today, consider holding both present reality and future hope together. You might pray, “Lord, help me to live with hope.” Allow this promise to steady your heart—not by ignoring today, but by anchoring it in what is to come. As this month comes to a close, you are reminded that your journey is not only about growth in the present, but about a future that is secure in God. You are walking toward a day when God’s presence will be fully known, and all things will be made new. Until then, you walk in hope.

Loving Father,

Thank You for the hope You have given me—a future where You will dwell fully with Your people and where all things will be made new.

You know the places where I carry sorrow, pain, or uncertainty. Help me to trust that You see every tear and that You are bringing restoration in Your time. Anchor my heart in this hope and help me to walk forward with confidence in Your promises.

All this I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
